It’s a well-known stereotype that Christians sometimes have our own “language” that’s… well… impenetrable for outsiders. One reason that this stereotype persists is that it’s at least partially true. But did you know that some worship leaders have their own language as well? According to this post at The Worship Community, it’s true:
Before today, you may have just thought your worship leader was speaking some new form of Christianese, or that there was a book in the Old Testament full of phrases they are supposed to say. If only it were that simple.
