With an ever-present appreciation for theater and movies, Jana has always been drawn to the music behind the story. In her sophomore album, she was inspired to blend dramatic themes from the screen and stage with songs that promote a heart of worship. She has pulled elements from classical influences such as Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Liszt, as well as current influences including The Script, and Passenger, to achieve an instrumental background to the most important love story. This love story features God and each person He has created. God wants to romance, He wants to fight and defend. When there’s a willingness to seek out that kind of relationship, the word that best describes this mutual interest is…Pursuit.
