Verses – All Things

Sometimes in the most unfamiliar places God chooses to speak. Verses began in the strange yet exciting New York City, a world away from the Australian hometown where producer Luke and vocalists Joel and Jess grew up. In the summer of 2013, seeking God and inspiration they moved together to a warehouse in Brooklyn where, by surprise, the bones of Verses came together. Musically they found themselves inspired by the rich culture of the city, spiritually they were led to turn the Bible into lyrics. Two months later, the trio returned home, refining their initial writing sessions into compelling melodies and addictive electronic beats. The band’s mission is to make Jesus famous. They try to find their lyrics directly in God’s Word and put them to music to make His verses known. Verses now present their first release ‘All Things’, a song that like their others, carries the weight of the cross whilst uplifting the heart of those who hear it. May He speak as you listen.

Sandra McCracken – Psalms

Over the past few years, I have helped to facilitate a series of songwriting retreats in Nashville, Tennessee with many gifted songwriters and friends. I’m thrilled to be giving away my latest hymns project, Psalms, including bonus songs (several unreleased) which are a sampling from these retreats and grew up right alongside the Psalms project. Drawing from scripture, traditional hymns, and the hospitality of friendship, these recordings give a window into the voice and personality of our people and our place.

Dan Becker – Songs For The Church Volume II

These ain’t your Granddaddy’s hymns.

Okay, I’ll be serious.

Over the years I have wondered about the role of music in church services. I heard someone suggest that music can be used to tell the story of the Gospel, one song at a time. That idea really resonated with me, so I decided to see if I could come up with a collection of hymns (featuring a few original melodies, watch out) based on that concept. I couldn’t quite cover everything with twelve songs, but I think it’s a good start.

Sean O’Brien – Standing On The Rock

“Standing On The Rock” released in 2013 is a worship CD. It contains popular praise and worship songs that many contemporary worship teams have played in churches around the world. However, the songs on “Standing The Rock” do not sound like the music played in most churches. These songs have a Rock and Roll feel of the 80’s and 90’s. I hope all who hear these songs are uplifted by them and that they would be able to use them to praise and worship God while listening and singing along with them. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and listen.

Taylor Agan – Speak Away (Featuring Maisen Smalley)

Speak Away is a prayer asking God to replace our fears, doubts, and unbelief with the truthfulness of His word. We believe that His voice is still relevant and powerful in a world that is fighting for our identity. Our hope is that this song would become a personal prayer that reminds you of who you are in Christ and challenges you to make space to listen to God speak.
