That Moment When…

I think we all have our favorite little moments that happen when we lead worship. Not moments that put the focus on us, but that remind and encourage us that we’ve been used by God for His glory. And that’s an awesome thing.

For me, it’s when the instruments cut out and the whole assembly raises their voices in praise. Goosebumps.

A post at Light/Weight describes one of those special worship leading moments:

I think I speak for worship leaders in general when I say that one of our joys is when the congregation’s singing is heard over the playing of music, when you can literally hear every voice raised, and the sound of worship is thick in the air because it’s not just noise, but it’s adoration and praise and worship of our God.
