In The Wake Of Tragedy

Andrew Mihaleff reflects on worship in the midst of turmoil:

This one cuts a little closer to home though. Most of the victims are women and children – which makes this already gutless act even lower still. As a husband and father I cannot comprehend who in their right mind can do this.

It’s also interesting to note that this gathering was a meeting of Christians. On what is meant to be the most joyous day in our calendar. They appear to have been targeted. Hours earlier, I had the privilege of leading God’s people in worship on Resurrection Sunday. And now this. Once again, I’m lost for words.

I am really struggling with how to process this, but I am trying to see what Jesus would say and do here.
